One person was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened Thursday morning on County Highway G north of Highway GG. A preliminary investigation shows that a northbound car was making a turn into a driveway when it was struck by a southbound SUV. The car driver, a 68 year old St. Cloud man, was flown by helicopter to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries. The SUV driver, a 55 year old New Holstein woman, received minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene. According to the Sheriff’s Office both operators were wearing their seat belts and the driver of the passenger car was cited for failure to yield right of way while making a left turn.
