Longtime Fond du Lac County Executive Allen Buechel has died.   Fond du lac County Director of Administration Erin Gerred says   Buechel died unexpectedly  Sunday afternoon.  He was 74 years old.   Buechel suffered an apparent heart attack while out to dinner Saturday night and died Sunday afternoon at the hospital.  Buechel was re-elected last April to a four year term.  He was first elected to the county board in 1976, and first […]
