A Slinger man is in custody following high speed pursuits with law enforcement in several counties. The first chase started Monday night on Interstate 41 near Townline Road in Fond du Lac County when a sheriff’s deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling a high rate of speed and passing vehicles on the shoulder of the interstate. That chase was terminated in Winnebago County. Later in the evening, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office that the suspect, a 22 year-old Slinger man, was taken into custody after a vehicle pursuit that began in Oconto County and ended in Marinette County. He is currently being held at the Oconto County Jail on their charges.
