4-7-22 former fdl city council candidate announces bid for state assembly

A second person has announced his candidacy for the 52nd Assembly District seat.  Lawrence Foster has announced he is running as a Republican for the seat being vacated by retiring Republican state representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt.   “I am running for this seat because of my passion for having the ability to adapt and overcome obstacles while presenting solutions through compromises,”  Foster said in a press release.  “My business experience coupled with being able to develop solutions that resolve complicated issues is the core of my foundation.”  Foster made an unsuccessful bid for Fond du Lac city council last year.   Foster says if he is elected some of his top priorities include law enforcement, election integrity, government budget accountability, school safety and education reform to provide students with the resources necessary for the future generation of jobs.  Town of Fond du Lac resident and retired bank executive Jerry O’Connor announced last month that he was running for the seat.
