Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged the porch of a Fond du Lac residence over the weekend. Shortly after 1:30pm Sunday firefighters were called to 284 North Park Aveue where the resident began to extinguish a fire which was contained to the front porch. Firefighters believe the fire was caused by improperly discarded smoking materials.
