A Fond du Lac man has been charged in connection with setting fire to his house. Charges of arson of a building and criminal damage to property have been filed against Arin Hansen. Hansen is accused of setting fire to his residence at 11 East 10th Street in October 2020. When firefighters arrived they found Hansen naked on his front porch screaming that his house was on fire. The fire caused significant heat and smoke damage inside the house, and melted the vinyl siding on the front porch, leaving the home uninhabitable. A pet dog died in the fire.
