Three Fond du Lac men are in custody on drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop in the city of Fond du Lac. Shortly after 4pm Sunday a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle at North Brooke and Lewis Sreets, and could smell marijuana. A search of the vehicle recovered five handguns, including one that was loaded, additional ammunition, over 50 grams of marijuana and THC related products, drug paraphernalia, and several hundred dollars cash. The three occupants of the vehicle, all Fond du Lac men, were taken into custody for a variety of drug and firearm related charges, and remain in custody at the Fond du Lac County Jail.
