A Theresa man has been convicted in connection with a fatal alcohol related traffic crash involving a city of Fond du Lac ambulance. Twenty nine year old David Worley pleaded no contest to homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle avoiding a jury trial scheduled to begin Monday. Worley was the driver of a car that collided with an ambulance after running a red light at the intersection of Johnson and Main Streets in Fond du Lac September 15, 2020. A passenger in Worley’s car, a 21 year old Fond du Lac man, was killed in the crash. Two paramedics and a patient in the ambulance received minor injuries. According to a criminal complaint Worley had been drinking prior to the crash and had a blood-alcohol level of .213 percent. According to investigators Worley told investigators he did not remember the crash.
