4-29-22 samaritan cash raffle tickets for sale

Tickets are on sale for this year's Fond du Lac Samaritan Cash Raffle.  The raffle drawing will be held at noon Wednesday May 11 on the Agnesian HealthCare Facebook page.  Agnesian HealthCare Foundation executive director, Shawn Fisher, says the grand prize is $50,000 cash.  Fisher says all of the proceeds go to Samaritan Health Clinic, serving patients who are underinsured, or who have financial difficulties.  Tickets are on sale for $50 each, […]

4-28-22 discarded smoking materials start fire at fdl tavern

Nobody was injured in a small fire that was quickly extinguished at the Press Box Tavern in Fond du Lac.  Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 7pm Wednesday and discovered the fire in a small area on the outside wall  of the building.  Interim Fire Chief Erik Gerritson says a discarded cigarette is apparently to blame.  The building was evacuated and later reopened.

4-28-22 poll shows growing pessimism among wisconsin voters

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The latest Marquette University Law School poll shows Wisconsin voters are growing more pessimistic. The poll released Wednesday showed that 36% of respondents had a favorable view of Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, with 46% unfavorable. Democratic Gov. 4-28-22 fdl school board to vote on architectural firm for artificial turf football field at next meeting
