On Monday May 2, 2022 at approximately 11:51pm, the City of Fond du Lac Police Department and City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue were called to the area of 261 N. Main Street, Leon’s Corner Pub, for a report of a subject who had been stabbed outside the tavern.
As Officers arrived on scene, they located an individual who had sustained multiple stab wounds to their torso and leg. The injured male, a 47-year-old Fond du Lac resident, was treated at the scene by City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue and transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers located an individual matching the description given by witnesses a few blocks away from the scene and were able to take a 35-year-old Fond du Lac male resident into custody without further incident. The suspect is currently being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on an outstanding Probation Hold.
