5-12-22 record high gas prices

Drivers are paying more at the pump, a lot more, as the price of gasoline moves steadily higher.  State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmusz says the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular in Wisconsin is now at an all-time high.  Jarmusz says the statewide average of $4.17 a gallon is an all-time high for Wisconsin.   The previous record was $4.11 set in 2011.  Jarmusz says at least in the near term it appears the price of gas will continue to rise. The increase is primarily due to the high cost of crude oil, which was selling at well over $100 a barrell.
