The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Fond du Lac County man who was run over by an intoxicated driver. The incident happened Thursday afternoon on Korth Road near Ridge Road in the town of Eldorado. First responders found a man laying in the roadway on Korth Road with serious injuries and attempted lifesaving efforts. The victim, a 58 year old Van Dyne man, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the Sheriff’s Office a vehicle operated by a 61 year old Van Dyne woman ran over the man. The woman was arrested for Operating While under the Influence causing Injury and Knowingly Operating while revoked causing Death. She was transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail.
