The Fond du Lac city council will get it’s first look at a feasibility study to build a pedestrian bridge connecting Lakeside Park to Lakeside Park West at their meeting Wednesday night. The cost to build a 210 foot long wood deck bridge is estimated at just over $1.5 million, or $1.6 million for a concrete deck bridge. The report concludes the project is feasible. If the council moves forward the next steps would include subsurface investigations, permitting and final design.
