The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says an argument may have proceeded a shooting that injured a Fond du Lac woman over the weekend. Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says an 18 year old Fond du Lac woman was treated and released from a hospital after she was shot in the leg Sunday night outside a residence in the area of Cemetery Road and Lakeshore Drive. Detectives recovered five shell casings in the road. Tadych says detectives are still investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting. Tadych told WFDL news there may have been an earlier confrontation in the city of Fond du Lac and the suspect vehicle followed the victim home.
