The city of Fond du Lac is holding it’s annual hazardous waste disposal Tuesday. Public Works director Paul DeVries says the free service for city of Fond du Lac residents only will be held from 2pm to 6pm Tuesday at the Municipal Service Center on Doty Street. DeVries says cars will be able to enter on North Main Street and turn left on Harborview Drive. Acceptable items include kitchen and bath items like aerosol cans, floor care products and cleaners, garage and workshop items including gasoline and oil mixtures, oil and metal based paint, and anti freeze, and garden and miscellaneous items including chemical fertilizers, flourescent bulbs, thermostats, and herbicides.
Items that will not be collected include latex paint, radioactive materials, explosives, ammunition and medical waste.
