Rackow’s Family Sausage in Juda, Wisconsin has issued issued a Class I recall for pork lard sold from its store. The recalled product includes four pound tubs of pork lard purchased before August first. The recall was announced based on evidence collected during a routine inspection that shows that the product was not produced under a proper food safety plan. No illnesses have been reported. Anyone with signs or symptoms of a foodborne illness should contact their doctor.
