The public is invited this weekend to the 100th annual Welsh/English Hymn Sing, or Gymanfa Ganu. The event will be held Sunday at the historic Peniel Chapel near Oshkosh. Reverand Joe Corbin says it’s a festival of Wales with the dignity of a church service. A Welsh singing school is being held at 1pm Saturday, with the Peniel Quartet at 6pm. A worship service will be held at 10:30am Sunday, with a hymn sing starting at 2:3pm. The Peniel Chapel is located about seven miles north of Rosendale on Zoar Road, about a half mile off Highway 26.
