8-30-22 inmate walks away from minimum security prison in oshkosh

The Winnebago County Correctional Center is reporting an inmate who walked away from the facility.   Authorities say 43 year old Michael Blake left the minimum security facility early Monday afternoon.   Blake is a white man, 5′7″, 170 pounds. He’s bald and has hazel eyes.   He was last seen wearing a beige T-shirt and green pants. CHICAGO (AP) — The Environmental Protection Agency has lifted a federal rule for fuel sales in four states in response to a fire last week at an Indiana oil refinery that could affect prices and supply. 8-30-22 skydiver dies after crashing into southeastern wi pond

STURTEVANT, Wis. (AP) — A skydiver practicing for national competition has died after crashing into a pond in Racine County. Authorities say the 36-year-old man from Tennessee experienced a hard landing in the water next to the Skydive Midwest skydiving center near Sturtevant Sunday.
