9-14-22 gas prices continue to fall

When gas prices were spiking just before the summer travel season, $5 a gallon seemed inevitable.  But over the course of the summer gasoline prices have been steadily on the decline.  State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmusz says the continued drop in prices at the pump is not a surprise.  “We had a sense that higher prices were a temporary phenomenon driven by the circumstances at the time,”  Jarmusz told WFDL news.  Jarmusz says he would anticipate gasoline prices to continue to drop this fall and into the winter.  A year ago the average price for unleaded regular in Wisconsin was $3.03 cents a gallon.
