The latest Marquette Law School poll shows close races for governor and U.S. Senate. With the November election less than eight weeks away Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson has a slim lead over Democratic challenger Mandela Barnes. “Johnson is up by one percentage point,” Poll director Charles Franklin told WFDL news. Franklin says Democratic Governor Tony Evers has a slight lead, within the margin of error, over Republican challenger Tim Michels. “Evers has a three point edge over Michels. In August it was a four point margin,” Franklin said. There will be two more polls released before the November election.
