Construction is underway on a nearly 4,000 square foot area of SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital’s recent two story addition for eye care services. Administrator of Clinical Operations at SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic Maria Metke says the new facility is expected to open in late spring or early next summer. Metke says the $4.2 million project will feature eight exam rooms, laser room, optical scan room, provider offices and contact lens room. “We will have an opthalmologist, two omptomotrists, and five eye care assistants,” Metke said.
