It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

October 31 to November 4: Concrete placement is complete and the electrical contractor will place conduit and street lights.
Traffic Impacts: 14 th Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

Military Road from Western Avenue to Superior Street – WI DOT Northeast Region
Schedule: April 11-October 2022
Description: The reconstruction of S Military Rd includes reconstruction of the street and utilities, addition of bike lane and construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Military Road and 9 th Street.
October 31 to November 4: Concrete crews will complete the pouring of the new concrete sidewalk and driveways, weather pending. Crews will continue to place topsoil and begin final restoration. Electrical contractor will install the remaining street lights and signals if materials are delivered.
Traffic Impacts: Military Road remains closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. The intersection of Military Road and 9 th Street remains closed to traffic.
WIS 23 Expansion – Urban Section – WI DOT Northeast Region
Location/limits: WIS 23 and various intersecting local roads between US 151 and Seven Hills Road
Schedule: April 11, 2021 to fall of 2022
Description of work: This work is part of the WIS 23 4-lane, on-alignment expansion project in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties.
October 31 to November 4: The contractor anticipates working on the following items:
Continue construction on the median between WIS 23 eastbound and westbound.
Continue pouring curb and gutter in the median of WIS 23.
Continue asphalt paving on the County K interchange.
Begin asphalt paving in the median of WIS 23.
Complete repaving the new road north of WIS 23 between Whispering Springs and County UU.
Complete paving Ledgewood Drive.
Complete placing concrete sidewalk on the County UU interchange.
Complete reconstruction of Ledgewood Drive at the old Whispering Springs intersection.
Complete construction on the Highway 151 northbound off ramp to WIS 23.
Traffic impacts:
County K north at WIS 23 – Closed
County UU (South of WIS 23) – Closed
County UU (North of WIS 23) – Closed
Highway 151 northbound off ramp to WIS 23: Anticipate delays while using the ramp during construction.
WIS 23 EB lane closure from County Lane to the east: Anticipate delays while using WIS 23 eastbound during construction.
Ledgewood Drive remains under construction. Anticipate delays during construction.
WIS 23 traffic is scheduled to switch to the permanent westbound lanes the night of Wednesday October 26 from County UU to the west.
The Highway 151 southbound off ramp to WIS 23 is scheduled to be closed on Monday November 7. There will be a detour route posted to access WIS 23 from the north.
