A Ripon man received what were believed to be life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash in Dodge County. The crash happened Friday morning on County Highway E, near Highway A about two miles east of Beaver Dam. Investigators say the 32 year old motorcycle operator was passing a semi in a no-passing zone on a curve and and struck a raccoon with oncoming traffic approaching. The motorcycle left the roadway, colliding with a guy-wire for a utility pole. The operator was wearing a helmet and was flown by helicopter to a trauma center.
