11-2-22 ribbon cutting for new girls’ hockey locker room at blue line family ice center

A new state of the art locker room has officially opened for the girls’ hockey teams at the Fond du Lac Blue Line Family Ice Center.   A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday evening marking completion of the more than $700,000 addition.  Erik Spies with the Warbirds Booster Club says he is very thankful for the public support including an anonymous donation that got the fundraising effort started about two years ago.  Girls hockey director Christine Rottman says the program has grown significantly in a relatively short period of time.  For more information about the project or to make a donation you can visit the Blue Line website.
