Sturgeon Spectacular gets underway Friday in Fond du Lac and continues through the weekend. Destination Lake Winnebago Region president Craig Molitor says the event has grown tremendously since it was launched eight years ago. Molitor says there are events at Lakeside Park and downtown Fond du Lac. Molitor says the state snow sculpting competition is the most popular event of the weekend. Sturgeon Spectacular is held in conjunction with the sturgeon spearing season.
