The Fond du Lac County Clerk is reporting a higher than average voter turnout in this week’s primary election. Clerk Lisa Freiberg says a little more than 15,000 registered voters cast ballots for a 25 percent turnout. “Unbelievable,” Freiberg told WFDL news. “There’s been April elections that we have not seen a 25 percent turnout.” Freiberg says the state supreme court race was probably the biggest factor.
