Two Fond du Lac men were arrested in connection with a burglary and a high speed chase. The burglary was reported Monday in the 100 block of South Portland Street and police officers stopped the suspect vehicle the next day at the Speedway gas station on West Johnson Street. A high speed chase ensued ending a couple miles later near the intersection of Streblow Drive. The suspects were arrested at gunpoint. Subsequent search warrants of two vehicles and two Fond du Lac residences recovered $65,000 in cash, a handgun, over three pounds of marijuana and evidence from the burglary. Charges are expected to be referred to the Fond du Lac County DA’s Office.
