This weekend the Fond du Lac High School’s Youth in Government delegation had the opportunity to participate in the statewide Model Government conference in Madison.
They argued court cases in the State Supreme Court, proposed bills in the State Senate and Assembly chambers, and created media posts/articles documenting the experience.
FHS Junior, Landiran Kern, Jr., was honored with the “Outstanding Delegate” award for his work in the Supreme Court. This experience was made possible due to members of the community and the generosity of sponsors. These include the Fond du Lac Bar Association, Fond du Lac Pizza Ranch, the Colwin Family, as well as Fond du Lac High School, and FHS Youth in Government delegation director and teacher, Molly Carney.
