The Laconia High School girls basketball team hoisted the gold ball for the first time in the school’s history. The Spartans defeated top-seeded La Crosse Aquinas 64-51 in the Division 4 championship game Saturday at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Laconia was the runner-up last year and in 2019.
