After a quiet start to the new year, Fond du Lac County Highway Department crews have been busy responding to major snow events almost on a weekly basis for more than a month. Fond du Lac County Highway commissioner Tom Janke says fortunately there is still plenty of salt to get through the rest of the snow season. Janke says the late winter storms can be taxing on the plow drivers, especially the longer duration snow storms. Like clockwork, more snow is in the forecast for later this week. The good news is temperatures continue to gradually warm.
