Fond du Lac High School Student Services Department hosted the WI Fondy Education and Business Fair on March 16th. The fair featured over 75 colleges and universities, and 50 businesses in attendance. The FHS Fieldhouse was transformed into a bustling hub of post-secondary education institutions, while the small gym was filled with representatives from dozens of local businesses. The event was designed to cater to everyone’s interests and needs. Previously, FHS could only take 40 students to the local Wisconsin Education Fair, but the onsite Fondy Fair has provided a much broader opportunity for all students. The annual Fondy Fair is an opportunity for students to explore various post-high school options. The Fondy High Student Services Department’s goal is to provide inclusive and intentional planning for all FHS students, inspiring, challenging, and providing engaging opportunities in an equitable environment. The ultimate aim is to prepare students to become college and career-ready contributors to their communities and the global society. The Fondy High School staff was encouraged to celebrate the college and career day by wearing their college or career gear.
