4-28-23 five injured when car crashes into verizon store in fdl

A 20 year old Oakfield man faces charges after slamming his car into the Verizon cell phone store in Fond du Lac injuring four people inside, one critically.  The crash happened shortly before 12:30pm Thursday at the Verizon Store on North Rolling Meadows Drive.    According to police the driver was northbound on N. 4-27-23 record low local unemployment rate

The local unemployment rate fell to a record low last month.  The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development says the city of Fond du Lac's jobless rate in March was 2.3 percent, down from 2.5 in February.   In Fond du Lac County the unemployment rate dropped three-tenths of a percent to 2.0 percent.   The Dodge County unemployment rate dropped four-tenths of a percent to 2.2 percent in March.  The statewide unemployment rate in March was […]

Some residents along the Upper Mississippi River evacuated their homes this week while others scrambled to prepare for near-record flooding.
