National Exchange Bank & Trust will be hosting a free “Shred Day” on Saturday, April 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (or until the truck is full) at the bank’s Festival Foods location in the Southeast corner of the Festival Foods parking lot located at 1125 E Johnson St, Fond du Lac. The Shred Day in Fond du Lac has a different location this year due to scheduled improvements at the bank’s south main street location. This is an opportunity for community members to dispose of documents containing confidential, personal information in a secure method. Documents will be shredded on-site by Shred-It, a firm specializing in secure shredding and information management solutions. Only paper items will be shredded.
Up arrival, all customers will need to park their vehicle and carry their shredding to the designated bins. Drivers and pedestrians must use caution.
Due to our partnership with the shredding company and limited truck space, please:
- Bring confidential information only – not all paper recyclables.
- Please package in a method where you are able to lift what you bring.
- Limit this community service shredding to non-business items only. If you are a business and interested in shredding, please contact Shred-It.
- Paper only – no plastics, metals, boxes, etc. (for example: spiral bound books, clips, rubber bands, etc.) Please keep in mind this is not a recycling event.
