The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is continuing it’s investigation after learning about a threat of violence at the Laconia Intermediate School. The Sheriff’s Office says early Monday morning the FBI notified the Sheriff’s Office of a school threat video they intercepted that had been shared on a social media platform. Working with the FBI, sheriff’s deputies were able to identify the Rosendale Intermediate School student who spoke of this threat on social media. Investigators say the threatening statement had been made approximately three weeks ago. Rosendale Brandon School District superintendent Wayne Weber says investigators determined there was no imminent threat to students or staff. Additional deputies were present at the Rosendale schools Monday morning, along with a village of Rosendale police officer.
