After hearing concerns from residents, the Waupun Common Council has voted to suspend the Waupun Community Garden for a year. In March the council had voted to allow the use of a vacant lot on Welch Street for the garden, but residents complained they didn’t want the garden in their neighborhood. Mayor Rohn Bishop the city will look for a new location for next year. The garden moved from a lot near the Waupun Christian Grade School in 2019 to make way for a new Senior Center, and relocated again in 2021.
