This week’s snow was a rarity for this time of year. National Weather Service meteorologist Paul Collar says measurable snowfall in May has happened only a handful of times on record, six times in the past 100 years. While, we didn’t see any significant snowfall Monday in east central Wisconsin, heavy snow was reported in northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s upper peninsula. Collar says the good news is temperatures are going to be closer to normal for the rest of the week.
