The Fond du Lac School District Superintendent says two persons of interest and the victim of a fatal shooting incident have ties to the Fond du Lac School District. Superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig says the victim, 20 year old Tatyanna Zech, was the niece of school board member Antonio Godfrey. “I shared my support and my condolences for him,” Dr. Fleig said. Dr. Fleig says two persons of interest in the shooting are students in the school district. Seventeen year old Antonion Johnston was a student at Fond du Lac High School and 14 year old Parise Larry Jr. was a Fond du Lac School District middle school student. Dr. Fleig says his thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. Dr. Fleig acknowledges that school work may not be all that important for some students over the next few days. “I think what’s important here is that we allow people space, we allow opportunities for people to talk, and we provide them an ear to listen.” He says it’s important that the district is flexible with students and their families as they “navigate this really tough time.”
