This summer the Fond du Lac Public Library will help take you to a Wisconsin state park…for free. Library director Jon Mark Bolthouse says a limited number of free, one-day passes to any Wisconsin state park may be “checked-out” from the library. Bolthouse the the passes are available as part of a new partnership between libraries, the Wisconsin DNR, and state Department of Public Instruction. Bolthouse says one pass will be available per family and distributed on a first-come, first serve basis. Passes may be used anytime through the end of the year that a state park is open with no blackout dates.
