Fond du Lac postal carriers are asking residents to help stamp out hunger. Letter carriers are sponsoring their 28th annual Letter Carrier Food Drive this weekend. Residents are asked to fill a box or bag and set it on their front step Saturday morning. Coordinator Aaron Le Duc says items needed include canned and boxed goods, peanut butter, hygiene and personal care items. The collection is distributed to the Fondy Food Pantry, Solutions Center, Broken Bread, Church of Peace and Salvation Army. Since 1995, the annual food drive has collected more than 700,000 pounds of food.
