Fond du Lac police have released the identity of a body found in a wooded area behind a Fond du Lac residence. Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says the deceased individual has been identified as 41 year old Tristan Phillips. Goldstein told WFDL news that Phillips had ties to the Fond du Lac area. Phillips’ body was discovered May 23rd in the 500 block of West Scott Street by a Fond du Lac resident doing yardwork in his backyard. An autopsy was conducted, but police are not releasing information regarding potential causes of death. Police initially called the death suspicious, but Goldstein says there has been no evidence of foul play. The investigation is continuing.
