Walleye Weekend returns to Fond du Lac this weekend centering around the Merc National Walleye Fishing Tournament. Fond du Lac Festivals Executive director Pete Wilke says the event is held this Friday through Sunday at Lakeside Park. Wilke says all of the money raised over the weekend goes to area nonprofit organizations. In addition to the fishing tournament there are plenty of activities for kids and adults including the Walleye Run/Walk, music, food, beverage. Sunday is Mercury Marine Family Day with several promotions and giveaways for kids throughout the park.
