Holy Family Catholic Community and the Salvation Army of Fond du Lac County are partnering this summer to help feed children and families as the Brown Bag Lunch program celebrates 30 years. Holy Family Catholic Community’s Sarah Razner says every week during the summer volunteers pack a total of 600 lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Razner says according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, food prices have risen nearly eight percent in the past year hitting families’ wallets hard. From Tuesday June 13th to Thursday August 24th, meals can be picked up at the Church of Peace, Lakeside Garden Apartments, and Maplewood Commons Apartments from 11am to 11:15am and at The Salvation Army from 11:30am to 12:15pm.
