Fond du Lac, Wis. – The Fond du Lac School District is pleased to announce that the National Exchange Bank Foundation (NEBF) has been selected for the 2022-23 Friend of Education Award. The Fond du Lac School District partners with the Fond du Lac Education Association to select an individual or group each school year to recognize as a Friend of Education. “National Exchange Bank Foundation has been a strong supporter of the Fond du Lac School District for over 20 years,” said Dr. Jeffry Fleig, Fond du Lac School District Superintendent. “Their commitment to our school district and community has and will continue to impact our students for years to come.” Over the last 20+ years, National Exchange Bank Foundation has provided over $2 million in monetary support to the Fond du Lac School District for various projects, such as Fruth Field, Fond du Lac High School Performing Arts Center and the Cardinal Stadium. In addition, NEBF has supported our Career Construction Academy and the need for crossing cones.

Each year since 1998, the Fond du Lac School District and the Fond du Lac Education Association have collaborated to select an annual Friend of Education Award recipient. The award is presented to individuals or organizations who contribute significantly to the mission of the Fond du Lac School District. Last year, the Friend of Education Award was presented to Dan Hebel, Boys and Girls Club of Fond du Lac CEO, for the club’s dedication to partnerships that provide after-school programs.
