6-28-23 local unemployment rate up

The unemployment rate is up locally in the latest reporting period.  The Dodge County unemployment rate increased six-tenths of a percent to 2.4 percent in May.   The May unemployment rate in Fond du Lac County was 2.2 percent, up from 1.9 percent in April.  The city of Fond du Lac's jobless rate jumped from 2.2 percent to 2.6 percent last month.
