The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in the search for a Manitowac man involved in a high speed chase. Friday morning a sheriff’s deputy attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle on state Highway 49 near Brandon Road. The vehicle sped away, and later crashed into a utility pole in the village of Brandon where the driver fled on foot. A five hour long search of the area using a drone and K9 was unsuccesful in locating the suspect. Investigators learned the man had contacted his mother and told her he believed his leg was broken and that he was hiding out in the area. Authorities are looking for 24 year old Nathan Holan. The Sheriff’s Office says Holan has a lengthy criminal history and is currently on probation for armed robbery.
