Waupun city officials hope a food truck plaza will be another reason for visitors to to explore downtown Waupun. Waupun major Rohn Bishop says the city will use a $45,000 Vibrant Spaces grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to create a Food Truck Plaza in an underused space on East Main Street in the downtown. Bishop says initial reaction to the idea is positive. Communities that applied for the grant program were required to match grant funds and begin construction this summer.
