The public is invited to participate in a food drive to benefit the Fondy Food Pantry. Food Pantry Board president Cindy Taylor says the Thrivent Food Drive will be held Wednesday July 19th from 4-6pm at the pantry on West Rolling Meadows Drive. Taylor says with kids out of school, summer is a time when many families struggle to put food on the table. Taylor says the all-volunteer nonprofit is assisting a record number of households this summer while marking 50 years of service to the area.
