Fond du Lac police are investigating the death of an inmate at the Taycheeda Women’s Prison as a homicide. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections says guards found 68-year-old Cindy Schulz-Juedes unresponsive Wednesday in her cell at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution. Efforts to revive her were unsuccessful. Sources told WFDL news that her cellmate beat and kicked her to death. Schulz-Juedes was sentenced last year to life in prison without parole after being convicted in Marathon County of her husband’s fatal shooting. Kenneth Juedes was a pharmacist in Medford, Wisconsin.
