ANTIOCH, Ill. (AP) — Northern Illinois police have seized a carnival ride as they continue investigating a Sunday incident in which a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was thrown from his seat. Officials in the village of Antioch say the ride was towed Wednesday from Chicago’s south suburbs about 65 miles back to Antioch. That came after a judge approved a search warrant allowing police to seize the ride following an inspection by the Illinois Department of Labor. The boy was riding the Moby Dick ride Sunday when he was thrown from it during Antioch’s Taste of Summer festival in the community about 60 miles northwest of Chicago, near Wisconsin’s border.
