The area unemployment rate was up in June. The city of Fond du Lac’s jobless rate stands at 3.7-percent, up from 2.6 percent in May. In Fond du Lac County the unemployment rate jumped one percent to 3.2 percent last month, and in Dodge County the rate jumped seven-tenths of a percent to 3.1 percent.
